Dubbelveckling, also known as double folding, is a traditional paper folding technique commonly used in the Netherlands and other Dutch-speaking regions. The method involves folding a sheet of paper in half twice, creating four equal sections. This technique is particularly well-known for its application in creating the *dubbelgevouwen brief* (double-folded letter), a standard format for formal correspondence in the Netherlands.

The process begins by folding the paper in half lengthwise, then folding it again perpendicularly to form a smaller rectangle.
