Dränerats

Dränerats is a Swedish term describing land from which excess water has been removed through artificial drainage. When land is dränerad, the groundwater table is lowered and surface water is evacuated, resulting in drier soil conditions that are better suited for cultivation, grazing, or construction.

Drainage is typically achieved through a combination of surface and subsurface methods.
