Druckstollen

Druckstollen, literally “pressure tunnel,” is a term used in German-speaking mining and civil engineering to describe a tunnel or shaft that is designed to carry fluids, gases, or air under pressure, or to provide a controlled path for pressure relief in underground environments. The concept covers both conduits that transport pressurized media and structures that help manage pressure around underground workings.
