Driftsäker

In practice, driftsäkerhet relates to reliability engineering, maintainability, and robustness.

In engineering and procurement, driftsäkerhet is a key criterion. Specifications often require high availability, fault tolerance, redundancy, and predictable maintenance needs. Achieving driftsäkerhet typically involves design choices such as robust components, modular architecture, redundancy of critical subsystems, self-diagnostic functionality, remote monitoring, and well-planned maintenance schedules.
