Drejningskræfter

Drejningskræfter, also known as torque, is a fundamental concept in physics that describes the rotational equivalent of linear force. It is the measure of how much a force acting on an object causes that object to rotate around an axis or pivot point. Unlike linear force, which causes an object to accelerate in a straight line, drejningskræfter causes an object to change its rotational motion, either by starting to rotate, stopping its rotation, or changing its speed of rotation.

The magnitude of drejningskræfter depends on three factors: the magnitude of the applied force, the distance from the pivot point to where the force is applied (often called the lever arm or moment arm), and the angle between the force vector and the lever arm.
