Dragomán is a term with historical roots, primarily referring to an interpreter or translator. The word originates from the Byzantine Greek word "dragoumanos" (δραγουμάνος), which itself is believed to have derived from the Arabic word "tarjumān" (ترجمان), meaning interpreter.
