Dostlik

Dostlik is the state or quality of friendship and companionship between people. In Uzbek and many Turkic languages, the word comes from dost meaning friend, with the suffix -lik forming an abstract noun, thus denoting “the condition of being friends.” The term has cognates in Turkish dostluk, Kazakh dostyq, and related forms in other Turkic languages, reflecting a shared cultural emphasis on social bonds.
