Difuusioilmiö, or diffusion phenomenon, refers to the process by which particles of a substance spread out and mix with particles of another substance due to their random motion. This movement, driven by thermal energy, occurs from regions of higher concentration to regions of lower concentration. Imagine a drop of ink placed in a glass of water. Initially, the ink is concentrated in one area, but over time, the ink molecules will spread throughout the water until the ink is evenly distributed. This is a classic example of diffusion.
