Dialektusból

Dialektusból is a Hungarian linguistic term that denotes origin from a dialect. In scholarly descriptions it functions as a prepositional phrase indicating that a word, expression, or linguistic feature comes from a particular dialect rather than from the standard language. The form is built from the noun dialektus (dialect) plus the postposition -ból, following regular Hungarian suffixation rules. The result, dialektusból, expresses source or provenance, and can be used with various predicates or as part of a larger noun phrase.

The phrase is commonly used in etymological, historical, and sociolinguistic contexts. For example, a sentence such as "A szó dialektusból származik" identifies the word as originating in a dialect. Similarly, "Az ilyen kifejezések dialektusból kerültek be a standard nyelvbe" describes how dialectal forms have entered standard Hungarian. The construction can also appear in attributive form, for instance "dialektusból vett kifejezés" to denote a phrase borrowed from a dialect.

In language studies, dialektusból is used to distinguish features that originate in regional speech from those that arise within the standard language or other sources such as loanwords from other languages. It is encountered in descriptions of lexical items, pronunciation features, or syntactic patterns that are characteristic of particular dialects and later encountered in broader language varieties.
