Deoxyribodinükleotit

Deoxyribodinükleotit, commonly referred to as a deoxynucleotide, is the basic building block of DNA. It is a molecule composed of three parts: a deoxyribose sugar, a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base. The nitrogenous bases found in DNA are adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T). These bases are responsible for carrying genetic information through their specific sequence.

In the structure of DNA, deoxyribodinükleotit units are linked together by phosphodiester bonds. These bonds form a sugar-phosphate backbone, with the nitrogenous bases projecting inwards. The sequence of these bases dictates the genetic code, which determines the traits of an organism.

There are four types of deoxyribodinükleotit, each distinguished by its nitrogenous base: deoxyadenosine monophosphate (dAMP), deoxyguanosine monophosphate (dGMP), deoxycytidine monophosphate (dCMP), and deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP). These units are crucial for DNA replication, transcription, and repair processes, all of which are fundamental to life.
