Densityneutron is a hypothetical concept used in speculative physics to describe a neutron-related excitation or entity tied to variations in neutron density within dense nuclear matter or high-energy systems. It is not an established particle in the standard model.

In one interpretation, a densityneutron is a quasi-particle representing a density fluctuation or collective mode in neutron-rich matter. It would behave as a neutral, spin-1/2 excitation whose properties, such as effective mass and dispersion, depend on the surrounding medium, analogous to phonons in solids or zero-sound modes in Fermi liquids.

In another interpretation, densityneutrons could refer to a hypothetical bound state or composite construct associated with regions of high neutron density, arising in certain beyond-standard-model theories that couple baryon density to a scalar or vector field. In either view, the interaction with protons, photons, and other mesons would be model-dependent and typically suppressed outside dense environments.
