Densalle
Densalle is a genus of extinct cartilaginous fishes belonging to the order Heterodontiformes, commonly known as bullhead sharks. Fossils of Densalle have been found in marine deposits dating back to the Cretaceous period. These ancient sharks are characterized by their distinctive dentition, which includes a combination of sharp, piercing teeth in the front of the jaw and flattened, crushing teeth in the back. This dental specialization suggests a diet that likely consisted of hard-shelled invertebrates, such as mollusks and crustaceans, in addition to fish.
The genus Densalle is known from fragmented fossil remains, primarily isolated teeth and some jaw elements.
