Denominaattori

Denominaattori is the term used for the denominator of a fraction. In a fraction written as a/b, the number b is the denominaattori, while a is the numerator. The denominaattori indicates into how many equal parts the whole is divided. It must be a non-zero value, otherwise the fraction is undefined.

In mathematical practice, fractions express a ratio between two quantities. The value of a fraction depends on both the numerator and the denominaattori.
