Demodikos
Demodikos is a transliteration variant of the Greek adjective dimotikós (δημοτικός), generally meaning “of the people” or “popular.” In English, the standard terms are demotic or dimotikós, and demodikos is not widely used as a standalone term in contemporary scholarship.
