Demilitarisation

Demilitarisation refers to the process of reducing or eliminating military forces, equipment, and infrastructure from a particular area or country. This can occur through various means, including disarmament agreements, withdrawal of troops, and the dismantling of military bases. The primary goals of demilitarisation are to promote peace, stability, and security, often in the context of conflict resolution, post-conflict reconstruction, or the prevention of future conflicts.
