Demagneetoida is a Finnish verb that translates to "to demagnetize" in English. It refers to the process of removing or reducing the magnetic properties of an object. This can be achieved through various methods, depending on the material and the desired outcome.

One common way to demagnetize is by heating a ferromagnetic material above its Curie temperature. At this temperature, the thermal energy overcomes the magnetic alignment of the material's atomic moments, rendering it non-magnetic.
