Degradált

Degradált is a Hungarian adjective meaning degraded, used to describe something that has undergone degradation. It is the past participle of the verb degradálni (to degrade) and is formed with the suffix -ált. It can be used attributively, as in degradált anyag or degradált fehérje, or predicatively in clauses such as az anyag degradált állapotban van.

In scientific contexts, degradálás refers to the process of degradation, while degradáció is a general noun for degradation. Degradált describes materials or substances whose structure, properties, or composition have deteriorated due to chemical, thermal, photochemical, or biological action.
