Degaña
Degaña is a municipality in the province of A Coruña, part of the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain. It covers an area of roughly 55 square kilometres and lies on the eastern side of the province, near the border with the province of Lugo. The town’s population, according to the most recent census, is approximately 1,500 residents, whose livelihoods are traditionally tied to agriculture, livestock and forestry. The main economic activities also include small-scale manufacturing and the service sector, which caters to both local needs and tourists visiting the region.
