Dalata Hotel Group is an Irish hospitality company that operates a portfolio of serviced apartments, hotels and residences across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Founded in 1999 by Cathal Gannon, Dalata began by acquiring and refurbishing former public service buildings, converting them into modern accommodation for business and leisure travelers. The group’s first major development was the conversion of a former Irish Bank building in Dublin, which opened as a serviced apartment in 2001.
