DS5

DS5 refers to the Citroën DS5, a compact executive car produced by the French manufacturer Citroën from 2011 to 2018. It was the third model to be released under the DS sub-brand, which aimed to offer a more premium and stylish alternative to mainstream Citroën vehicles. The DS5 was notable for its distinctive and futuristic design, featuring a sculpted body, a panoramic glass roof split into three sections, and a bold front grille. Its interior also showcased a unique design, with a cockpit-inspired dashboard and high-quality materials.

The DS5 was available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, including a hybrid diesel variant called the HYbrid4. This innovative powertrain combined a 2.0-liter HDi diesel engine with an electric motor, offering all-wheel drive and a focus on fuel efficiency. The car was praised for its comfortable ride and refined interior, though some reviews noted a less engaging driving experience compared to some rivals.

Production of the DS5 took place in France. It was positioned as a competitor to vehicles in the premium compact segment. While it garnered attention for its bold styling and avant-garde approach, its sales figures did not reach the same levels as some of its more established German competitors.
