Cricketplaying refers to the act of participating in the sport of cricket. This involves two teams of eleven players each, one batting and one fielding. The batting team scores runs by hitting a ball, bowled by a player from the fielding team, and running between two sets of wickets. The fielding team attempts to dismiss the batsmen and limit the runs scored. Dismissals can occur in various ways, such as being bowled (the ball hitting the wickets), caught (the ball being caught by a fielder after being hit by the batsman), or leg before wicket (LBW), where the ball would have hit the wickets but was intercepted by the batsman's leg.
