Craignure

Craignure is a village on the eastern shore of the Isle of Mull in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It lies at the head of Craignure Bay and is the island's principal ferry terminal, served by regular Caledonian MacBrayne sailings to Oban. The harbour handles both passenger and vehicle traffic and acts as a gateway for visitors traveling to Mull.

The village sits along Mull's eastern coast and is connected by road to other parts of the island, providing access to towns and rural communities along the coast.

Craignure hosts Craignure Primary School, along with a small cluster of services that support residents and ferry travelers. The ferry terminal and its operations are a defining feature of the village.

The area relies on tourism, ferry-related activity, and local services. The surrounding landscape—coastal scenery, hills, and wildlife such as seabirds and deer—attracts walkers and nature watchers year-round.
