Consumentenwaarde, or consumer value, refers to the perceived benefits a consumer receives from a product or service relative to its cost. It's a fundamental concept in marketing and economics, explaining why consumers choose one offering over another. This value is not solely based on objective features but also on subjective perceptions, including emotional and social aspects.
The assessment of consumer value is dynamic and personal. What one consumer values highly, another might not.
