Conias

Conias is a genus of longhorn beetles within the family Cerambycidae. It is primarily distributed in tropical regions, including Central and South America, and Africa. The beetles are typically small to medium in size, often ranging from 12 to 30 millimeters in length.

There are currently six recognized species within the Conias genus: C. barkamansi, C. conicenoides, C. fasciatus, C. maduraiensis, C. quadrivittatus, and C. rugulosus. The scientific classification of the genus was first established by Thomson in 1865, and has undergone revisions since then.

Longhorn beetles, including those in the Conias genus, are characterized by their distinctive elongated antennae, known as 'rostrums,' which can be longer than the beetle itself.
