Condividono

Condividono is the third-person plural present indicative form of the Italian verb condividere, meaning “they share.” It is used to indicate that two or more agents are distributing something to recipients, or that information, experiences, or resources are being made available to others. The related infinitive condividere and the past participle condiviso belong to the same verb family.

Etymology: Condividono derives from con- “together” and dividere “to divide,” from Latin dividere. The prefix con- conveys a sense of bringing together or sharing rather than separating.

Usage: Condividono governs a direct object, as in condividono un documento, condividono un segreto, or condividono un’idea. In digital contexts, the form is frequently used to describe actions on social networks, for example condividono post, link o foto. In compound tenses, the present perfect is formed with avere: hanno condiviso. The sense can also be figurative, as in condividono caratteristiche, valori o interessi.
