Conalláins
Conalláins, also spelled Conallains, were a prominent Irish dynasty of the Uí Néill, a branch of the Cenél nEógain. They were one of the most powerful and influential families in medieval Ireland, ruling over parts of Ulster and Connacht. The name Conalláins is derived from the Gaelic "Conall mac Néill," meaning "son of Niall." The dynasty is believed to have originated from Niall of the Nine Hostages, a legendary figure who is said to have founded the Uí Néill.
