Coffee-derived refers to substances, extracts, and products that originate from coffee beans, typically through roasting and processing. The term covers ingredients used in food, beverages, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals that come from Coffea beans rather than synthesized.

Major coffee-derived constituents include caffeine, chlorogenic acids, diterpenes such as cafestol and kahweol, trigonelline, and melanoidins formed during roasting.
