Cibona

Cibona, commonly known simply as Cibona, is a professional basketball club based in Zagreb, Croatia. Founded in 1946, it is one of the country’s oldest and most storied teams. The club competes domestically in the Croatian League and Croatian Cup, and participates in regional competitions such as the ABA League, which features clubs from the former Yugoslavia region.

Cibona rose to prominence during the Yugoslav era and gained international recognition in the 1980s with rosters that produced players who later reached the NBA, including Dražen Petrović and Toni Kukoč.
