Chargestoring

Chargestoring is a term that has emerged in discussions surrounding electric vehicles and their integration into the power grid. It broadly refers to the concept of storing electrical energy within an electric vehicle's battery when electricity prices are low or grid demand is minimal, and then discharging that energy back to the grid or a local load when demand is high or prices are elevated. This bidirectional flow of electricity, often referred to as vehicle-to-grid (V2G) or vehicle-to-home (V2H) technology, is a key component of chargestoring.

The primary goal of chargestoring is to enhance grid stability and efficiency. By acting as a distributed energy storage system, electric vehicles can help balance supply and demand on the power grid.
