Chalcidice, also known as Chalcidica or the Chalcidiki Peninsula, is a peninsula and an administrative region in the Thessaloniki Regional Unit of Greece. It is located southeast of the city of Thessaloniki. The peninsula is characterized by its three distinct "fingers" or peninsulas that jut out into the Aegean Sea: Kassandra, Sithonia, and Athos.
