ChadCameroon
ChadCameroon refers to the Chad–Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project (CCPDP), a cross-border effort to develop Chad’s oil resources and export them via a pipeline to the Atlantic coast of Cameroon. Conceived in the 1990s as a means to monetize Chad’s oil discoveries and integrate the country into regional energy infrastructure, the project brought together the governments of Chad and Cameroon, private oil companies, and international lenders. The pipeline runs roughly 1,000 kilometers from southern Chad to the Cameroonian coast, with an export terminal near Kribi used to load crude onto tankers.
Oil production and export began in the early 2000s, with first crude shipments around 2003–2004. The CCPDP
