Calorimetriche

Calorimetriche is the feminine plural form of the Italian adjective calorimetrico/calorimetrica, used to describe calorimetric methods, data, or phenomena in Italian texts. It denotes anything related to calorimetry, the experimental science that measures heat changes during physical, chemical, or biological processes.

In practice, phrases such as misure calorimetriche or metodi calorimmetriche appear in Italian literature to refer to calorimetry-based measurements or techniques. The central goal of calorimetry is to quantify heat transfer and energetics, often with a calorimeter. The basic relation used in many contexts is Q = m c ΔT for a sample with mass m and specific heat c undergoing a temperature change ΔT, although modern calorimetric practice frequently focuses on heat flow (dQ/dt) rather than total heat.
