CNValueet

CNValueet is a valuation framework and protocol designed to standardize the assessment and comparison of value across diverse asset classes, including equities, commodities, digital assets, services, and environmental credits. It combines a set of valuation models with a distributed ledger to enable transparent cross-asset benchmarking and reproducible results. The CNValueet project emphasizes open access, modularity, and governance by the community of contributors.

The framework originated from a collaboration among academics and industry practitioners in the early 2020s who sought to address fragmentation in valuation methods. CNValueet aims to provide a unified vocabulary for value drivers, a common data schema, and a shared library of valuation functions. The protocol is typically deployed as an open-source stack with optional commercial deployments and uses a governance process to approve updates to models, data sources, and parameters.

CNValueet architecture comprises three core layers. A data ingestion layer collects and standardizes sources such as market prices, operational metrics, and qualitative assessments. A valuation engine applies configurable value drivers—scarcity, utility, risk, and liquidity—producing a multi-criteria value score and a CNValueet value index. A settlement or recording layer logs results to a distributed ledger to support traceability and auditability.

Governance and data integrity are managed by a CNValueet council and broader contributor community. Data provenance, model validation, and oracle security are central concerns, with emphasis on transparency and reproducibility. CNValueet is used by researchers, asset managers, and policy analysts to benchmark assets, study valuation dynamics, and support decision-making.
