CISPRsäädökset refer to the regulations established by the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR), which is part of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These regulations are international standards designed to limit electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by electrical and electronic equipment. The primary goal of CISPR regulations is to ensure that such equipment does not cause unacceptable interference to radio services or other equipment, and that the equipment itself is not unduly affected by external interference.

The CISPR standards cover a wide range of electronic and electrical products, including household appliances, information technology equipment, industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) equipment, and vehicles. They define limits for both radiated and conducted emissions, as well as immunity requirements. Compliance with CISPR regulations is often a prerequisite for placing products on the market in many countries, as it is frequently incorporated into national legislation and mandated for CE marking in the European Union and similar conformity marks elsewhere.

Testing to CISPR standards is performed in accredited laboratories to verify that a product meets the specified emission and immunity levels. Manufacturers are responsible for ensuring their products comply with the relevant CISPR standards applicable to their product category and target markets. These regulations are periodically updated to keep pace with technological advancements and evolving interference challenges.
