CDMA2000
CDMA2000 is a family of mobile telecommunications standards for 3G networks developed by 3GPP2, based on the CDMA (code division multiple access) radio interface and built on the earlier IS-95 (cdmaOne) standard. It was designed to deliver higher data rates and improved capacity for both voice and data on licensed spectrum. CDMA2000 is part of the ITU IMT-2000 family of 3G technologies and is distinguished from other IMT-2000 options by its CDMA air interface and its evolution path stemming from IS-95.
The standard defines several radio interfaces, most notably CDMA2000 1xRTT, which provides circuit-switched voice and basic
