CD27-CD70 refers to a receptor-ligand axis in the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily that provides important costimulatory signals to cells of the immune system. CD27 is a membrane receptor of the TNFRSF7 family expressed on T cells, subsets of B cells, and natural killer cells. CD70 is its ligand, a transmembrane protein of the TNF ligand family whose expression is induced on activated antigen-presenting cells, certain activated lymphocytes, and some tumor cells.
