Brutusfers are a fictional species native to the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are a sentient, silicon-based lifeform characterized by their crystalline exoskeletons and a unique form of bioluminescence. Their bodies are segmented and typically possess four to six limbs, each ending in sharp, multifaceted digits. Brutusfers communicate through a combination of low-frequency sonic vibrations and complex light patterns emitted from specialized organs within their bodies.

The Brutusfer civilization is known for its advanced understanding of geology and energy manipulation. They have developed sophisticated subterranean cities, carved directly into the crystalline structures of Xylos. Their society is organized into communal guilds, with individuals specializing in areas such as mining, energy harvesting, and crystal artistry. Brutusfers reproduce asexually through a process of budding, where a smaller crystalline offshoot grows from a mature individual and eventually detaches to become a new, independent being.
