Bronkhorst

Bronkhorst is a municipality located in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. It was formed on January 1, 2005, as a result of the merger between the municipalities of doorwerth andafdilkte Verwchtinaht. The municipality of Bronkhorst covers an area of approximately 218.84 square kilometers and has a population of around 13400 people.

The name "Bronkhorst" is derived from the Dutch words "Bron" and "Horst," which refer to the river and the wooded area. The municipality is situated in the Veluwe region, known for its heathland and sand drift ridges. Agriculture and horticulture are the main economic drivers in the area, with many farms and greenhouses concentrated in the municipality.
