Borpohárítók

Borpohárítók are a type of wine glass designed to enhance the aroma and flavor of wine. The word "borpohárítók" is Hungarian, translating to "wine glass enhancers" or "wine glass aerators." These devices are typically inserted into the neck of a wine bottle or placed directly into a wine glass. Their primary function is to increase the surface area of the wine that comes into contact with air as it is poured or swirled, a process known as aeration or decanting.
