Bootstrapmeetodeid refers to a class of statistical methods that use resampling to estimate the sampling distribution of a statistic. Bootstrap methods are particularly useful when analytical solutions are difficult or impossible to obtain, or when dealing with complex statistics or small sample sizes. Common applications include estimating the variability of regression coefficients, medians, and various machine learning model performance metrics. While powerful, it's important to note that bootstrap methods assume the original sample is representative of the population.
