Blokkkopolümeer

Blokkkopolümeer, also known as block copolymers, are polymers composed of two or more homopolymer subunits that are covalently bonded to each other. These subunits, called blocks, are typically long chains of repeating monomer units. The defining characteristic of a blokkkopolümeer is that the blocks are arranged in distinct sequences along the polymer backbone, rather than being randomly distributed. Common arrangements include diblock (A-B), triblock (A-B-A or B-A-B), and multiblock copolymers.

The unique properties of blokkkopolümeer arise from the incompatibility of their constituent blocks.
