Blankenstein

Blankenstein is a municipality in the Erzgebirgskreis district of the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is situated in the eastern part of the Ore Mountains, near the border with the Czech Republic, and lies in a predominantly rural region characterized by wooded hills and small settlements.
