Beábrázolás

Beábrázolás is a Hungarian term that translates to "representation" or "mapping" in English. It is a fundamental concept in mathematics, particularly in abstract algebra and set theory, and also finds application in computer science and other fields. In essence, beábrázolás refers to a function or a correspondence between two sets, where each element in the first set (the domain) is associated with exactly one element in the second set (the codomain).

The concept of beábrázolás allows for the study of relationships between different mathematical structures. For instance, in group theory, a beábrázolás between two groups can reveal similarities or differences in their underlying structures. Similarly, in linear algebra, a linear beábrázolás describes how vectors are transformed from one vector space to another while preserving the operations of vector addition and scalar multiplication.
