Bellsprouts
Bellsprouts are a species of Grass-type Pokémon introduced in the first generation of games. They are known for their distinctive appearance, resembling a small sprout with a large bell-shaped head. Bellsprouts are typically found in grassy areas and forests. Their primary diet consists of sunlight and water. They are known to move by bouncing their bell-shaped heads. When threatened, Bellsprouts can spray a sticky, sweet nectar from their mouths to deter predators or ensnare prey. This nectar is also sometimes collected by trainers for its unique properties. Bellsprouts evolve into Weepinbell at a certain level, which in turn evolves into Victreebel. Their Pokedex entries often mention their ability to absorb nutrients from the soil through their roots, which are not visible above ground. Despite their small size, they possess surprising strength in their vines, which they can use to whip opponents. Their cries are often described as bell-like sounds. They are a common early-game encounter for many trainers.
