Baryontophotons

Baryontophotons are hypothetical elementary particles that are proposed to mediate interactions between quarks and leptons. The concept arises from theories attempting to unify the strong and electroweak forces, suggesting a more fundamental structure to matter than currently described by the Standard Model. Unlike photons, which mediate electromagnetic interactions between electrically charged particles, baryontophotons are theorized to interact with particles possessing baryon number.
