Bakteer

Bakteer is a term used in some contexts to refer to bacteria. Bacteria are a domain of prokaryotic microorganisms that are typically a few micrometers in length. They exhibit a wide range of metabolic diversity, utilizing various sources of energy and carbon for growth. Bacteria can be classified based on their shape (cocci, bacilli, spirilla), their cell wall structure (Gram-positive, Gram-negative), and their oxygen requirements. The study of bacteria is known as bacteriology, a subdiscipline of microbiology.
