Avaroa
Avaroa refers to the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, a Bolivian protected area in the southwestern part of the country. It is located mainly in the Sud Lípez Province of the Potosí Department and lies on the Altiplano near the border with Chile. The reserve is named after Eduardo Avaroa, a Bolivian military officer who died in the War of the Pacific.
