Auxsäätimet, often shortened to "aux," refers to auxiliary controls or inputs in electronic devices, particularly in audio equipment. These are typically used to connect external sound sources to a larger system, such as a stereo, amplifier, or car radio. The "aux" input allows users to play music or other audio from devices like smartphones, MP3 players, or portable CD players.

The most common form of aux connection is through a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) stereo mini-jack. This type of connection is widely adopted across a vast range of consumer electronics.
