Autosensitivity
Autosensitivity refers to a person's heightened awareness of their own internal bodily sensations. This can manifest as an increased perception of normal physiological processes, such as heartbeats, breathing, or gastrointestinal activity. While some level of bodily awareness is normal and essential for maintaining homeostasis, individuals with autosensitivity may experience these sensations more intensely or interpret them as more significant than they actually are.
