Astigi

Astigi is an ancient Iberian settlement located in the province of Seville, Spain. It is identified with the modern town of Écija. The origins of Astigi are believed to date back to the Iberian period, with evidence suggesting significant settlement and development during Roman times. As a Roman city, it was a notable center within the province of Baetica, a strategically important region of Hispania.
